Hi Jim,
Hope all is well with you.
I got together with my fellow "Roseland Band" group members (including Jim Williams) in Chicago last November for the Chicago Music Scene, the 60s and 70s book release by Dean Milano. Our picture is in the book. It was a 35 year reunion for us. We played four songs at the Chicago Pop Festival / book release party.

Sounds like a class, (Foothills songwriting), I need. I am a protools user, I have been playing guitar for a long time and hit a wall for years. I recently, thinking I had nowhere else to go, started composing tunes in alternate tunings, (About 3 years ago or so). Well what do you know, I have composed some 30-35 tunes, a few are pretty good. I am terrible at lyrics and your class sounds like I could learn something.

Once you've heard a Jim Bruno song, there's no getting it out of your head. If Jim were born 500 years ago or 500 years from now, he'd still have been a songwriter/musician/poet.

Jimmy,
We worked together at Pathology Institute a lifetime ago.... What a treat to find your website! I think John (crompton) got your music when we split up. Hey, didn't he alter the lyrics in 'Me and my Michael' for our wedding??..still, I've sung what I can remember of your lyrics to both of my kids through the years.
I loved that one ' on a corner just like this one'... Any chance of hearing you play or getting some of your music?

Hey Jim! I've been kicking back and listening to the entire catalog of your songs on your Broadjam page. Excellent stuff man!!! You are a great songwriter. I love it when someone tells me a story in a song. Ray Took a Slug in the Leg is my favorite so far. Calls back to Lennon and very reminiscent of The Band. Love it! :)

jimmy (or should i call you jim?): it was great seeing and dining with you, kathleen, and ruby in portland., along with mutual friends and family. we all got together at Borg's (a longtime friend and drummer you met that night) and played music. we sang the jimmy bruno standard "pretty darlin'," with borg putting down a cool rythum on a turkish drum, me on borg's martin, and laurel with her great harmonies.
